Gasket Magic Refund and Return Policy

This Policy applies to products bought from Amaji Group (Pty) Ltd. (Gasket Magic) itself and Third Party Sellers. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.

  1. Standard Returns Policy
    1. We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we will either repair/replace it, or credit your account, subject to the below terms.
  1. Requesting a Refund or Replacement for a Defective Product
    1. We offer a money-back or replacement bottle guarantee. To process your refund or replacement, we only require a copy or photo of your receipt and a written description of what happened. You don’t need to return the bottle or packaging to us.
    2. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the description of what happened.
  1. Changed Your Mind?
    1. Where you have changed your mind and would like a credit for a product, you can return it provided that the product remains unopened and within the original packaging – We will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return.
  1. Standard Seven-Day Guarantee
    1. We are so confident that Gasket Magic works, that we offer a money-back or replacement bottle guarantee.
    2. The only question we ask is to tell us what happened while we appreciate and take your feedback to heart.
    3. Currently, about 1 in 500 applications do not work the FIRST time. That could be due to severe head gasket problems. Or... sometimes your problem is not related to a head gasket problem at all.
    4. Sometimes the first application could be wasted due to the severity of the problem, so much so that the Gasket Magic in the system could be lost to severe overflow before the system is sealed.
    5. Our general recommendation is that if you notice any improvement with the first application, to take a replacement bottle, which in 99% of cases does sort it out.
    6. But it is always your option to take the refund instead.
    7. We are proud of our product - it works - and when customers come back to use it on new or other vehicles, or recommend it, it is total proof. On that basis, we don't even ask questions other than what happened.
    8. We challenge any other company in South Africa to offer this kind of guarantee.
    9. On the few occasions we refunded customers - we felt sad, not because we had to part with the money, but to think we couldn't have saved them thousands of Rands, and the convenience of not being without their transport.
    10. We do not accept any mechanical breakdowns or further liabilities.
  1. Charges and refunds
    1. If you change your mind, but you fail to return the sealed product within its original packaging or all parts when defective, we are entitled to (subject to applicable law) refuse the return.
    2. If you return a product that does not comply with this Policy, you may be liable to reimburse Amaji Group (Pty) Ltd. (Gasket Magic) for the cost of collecting the product from you and the cost of having the product returned to you.
    3. Please note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by Instant EFT or COD (cash on delivery) will be refunded to your nominated bank acc
